Refund Policy

Last Updated: September 1, 2025

Thank you for choosing IDWT LLC for your app development needs. We are committed to providing high-quality services and ensuring client satisfaction. This policy outlines our guidelines regarding refunds for our app development services.

General Policy

Due to the nature of our services, which involve significant investment in time, resources, and creative work, our refund policy is structured to be fair to both our clients and our company. [1] Once a project has commenced and work has begun, we generally do not offer refunds. [16]

Project-Based Work

For most projects, we operate on a milestone-based payment schedule. Payments for each milestone are due before work on that milestone begins. Once a payment for a milestone is made and work has commenced, that payment is non-refundable. If a client chooses to terminate a project mid-milestone, they will not be entitled to a refund for the work already completed or the payment made for that milestone.

Initial Deposits

All projects require an initial deposit to secure a spot in our development schedule and for the initial discovery and planning phase. This deposit is non-refundable as it covers the administrative and preparatory work that begins immediately after payment.

Exceptions

A refund may be considered in the following exceptional circumstances:

  • Service Not Rendered: If IDWT LLC is unable to commence work on a project after a payment has been made, and the client has provided all necessary information and cooperation, a full refund for that specific payment will be issued.
  • Mutual Agreement: In rare cases, if both the client and IDWT LLC mutually agree to terminate a project, a partial refund may be negotiated based on the work completed and the resources expended. This is at the sole discretion of IDWT LLC.

Non-Refundable Circumstances

Refunds will not be provided under the following circumstances:

  • The client changes their mind or no longer wishes to proceed with the project after work has started.
  • The client is not satisfied with the final product but has approved the design and development milestones throughout the process.
  • Delays are caused by the client's failure to provide necessary content, feedback, or approvals in a timely manner.
  • The project is terminated by the client for reasons unrelated to the performance of IDWT LLC.

Project Cancellation

If a client wishes to cancel a project, they must provide written notice. Any payments made up to the point of cancellation are non-refundable. IDWT LLC will provide the client with all completed work up to the cancellation date, provided all due payments have been made.

How to Request a Refund

To request a refund based on the exceptional circumstances listed above, you must submit a written request to contact@idwtllc.com. The request must include a detailed explanation of the reason for the refund request and any supporting documentation.

Changes to This Refund Policy

We reserve the right to modify this refund policy at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page. You are advised to review this Refund Policy periodically for any changes.
